Don't miss out on the "Last Chance" sale items we have in the store. Daily, we check sections in our store for books that have been on the shelves for a bit too long. Those would normally be shipped back to the publisher, but we have decided to give our customers a chance to purchase them at 25% discount before we ship them back. You will never know what you will find, but it will not be your normal 'bargain' books. These are regular bestsellers that have been overlooked by our customers. The Valley Bookseller offers book groups, events and special options to make your experience at our store something you will love.
BOOK CLUBS: Creating a book community in Stillwater is really at the heart of our store. We have book clubs at the store and welcome all.
EVENTS: Our most popular book event is our Totally Criminal Cocktail Hour. Held the first Wednesday of each month at the Dock Cafe in Stillwater. The Totally Criminal Cocktail Hour is a time when local mystery and thriller authors come to autograph and discuss their books. This event is a wonderful time for socializing and talking about books! Because of the popularity of this event, we do require reservations. Cash bar. Cost $10 and this includes great appetizers.
INVENTORY AND SPECIAL ORDERS: We've recently expanded our inventory, so most current bestsellers are in stock. If we don't have what you're looking for, we offer special ordering at no additional cost to you and normally it will be available for you to pick up within a week.
